You don’t need to know what to do with your hands or how to look natural for a camera. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’m much more interested in getting you comfortable enough to forget about me for a while. You don’t have to perform or manufacture anything. Just show up as yourselves. I’ll take it from there.

There are photographs I’ll intentionally create—the portraits, the beautiful light, the composition—and others I could never plan if I tried. I want both. I’m always watching for the small things happening around me: a look, a hand reaching for someone, the split second before a tear. The goal isn’t to make everything perfect. It’s to make photographs that feel like your life.

Absolutely. I’m based in Denver and photograph throughout Colorado, but I’m always happy to get on a plane for a story worth telling. I photograph destination weddings and sessions throughout the U.S. and internationally, and I have a particular soft spot for Europe.

Travel fees vary depending on the location, so tell me where you’re headed when you inquire and we’ll figure out the details.

For weddings, I recommend reaching out as soon as you know your date—especially for popular weekends or destination celebrations. For couples, motherhood, and family sessions, a few weeks to a couple of months is usually plenty.

That said, life doesn’t always plan itself months in advance. If you have something coming up soon, reach out anyway. If I have the space, I’d love to make it happen.

I don’t photograph toward a specific number or hold back photographs to meet a package count. Every story is different, but you can typically expect an average of 75 images per hour.

What you’ll receive is a thoughtfully edited collection of the photographs that matter—the big moments, the quiet ones, the people you love, and things you may not have even noticed while they were happening.

Yes. You absolutely do not need to have that figured out before you contact me.
